November 9, 2009 - Cedar Knolls, NJ -- Xybion Unveils Pristima™ VM, an Integrated Enterprise Software Solution for Vivarium and Veterinary Care Management
Product release is a research industry first, allowing veterinary research subjects, research facilities and research safety study data to be managed in one software application.
Xybion Medical Systems announced today that it has unveiled Pristima™ VM, an integrated enterprise software solution for research facilities that track the use and care of veterinary research subjects. Pristima™ VM has been engineered to operate either stand alone or, more importantly, as an integrated solution with Xybion's core Pristima™ product that is in use in many of the world's premier pharmaceutical, contract research organization (CRO) and chemical research facilities that conduct product safety testing and research.

The integration of Pristima™ VM with the Pristima™ preclinical solution is a completely new way of thinking for vendors in this industry. This solution is filling a market void that the industry has been pressing vendors to address. Applications on the market today address only the animal management side of the business or the safety testing toxicology and pathology side of product research and development, leaving critical gaps in the flow of information for pharmaceutical, CRO or other research organizations. Xybion has now closed that gap and provided something that no other vendor has been able to, a conduit between the business, animal management and scientific aspects of research.
Pristima™ VM will be publicly debuted at the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science's National Meeting in Denver November 9-11, 2009 at Booth #506. To receive information about Pristima™ VM or Pristima™ visit http://www.xybion.com.

September 21, 2009 Cedar Knolls, NJ - Xybion Medical Systems Releases Pristima™ 6 with Integrated Colony Management
Robust enterprise application is a “game changer” for the preclinical medical research community
Xybion Medical Systems, a world leader in enterprise research solutions and the developer of Pristima™ the premier preclinical data management system on the market, is excited to announce the release of Pristima 6. This milestone release includes a host of improvements throughout the entire product suite and specifically introduces the Pristima Colony Management module to the toxicology community.
Pristima Colony Management fully integrates the toxicology laboratory teams with the animal husbandry unit, thus completing an electronic chain of custody and animal monitoring process that includes animal orders, animal shipments, non-study related health assessments and enforcing study readiness criteria before animals are assigned to any study. Pristima Colony Management also enables animals to be returned to the colony and assigned to a new study, building an individual animal’s history of diagnoses across time.
Dr. Pradip Banerjee, Xybion’s chief executive officer stated that “We are thrilled to build this unique and powerful functionality into Pristima. Until Pristima 6, there was no single solution on the market that could track an entire history of the animal’s experience. This is also a perfect example where Xybion worked with the client community to develop a set of requirements, and then developed and released it in record time.” Dr. Banerjee continued, “Pristima is the most flexible and feature-rich toxicology and pathology system on the market and the Colony module further extends its lead over competitive products. It is truly a game-changer for facilities that are seeking to improve their compliance and reduce the costs of managing the research process.”
Pristima 6 arrives at a time when streamlining the research environment and reducing the use of animals in research testing is of utmost importance to organizations. Earlier this year the United States, European Union, Japan and Canada signed a memorandum of cooperation seeking to reduce the number of animals used in regulatory health and safety assessments. “Xybion has had a long history of helping our customers to support the efficacious use of animals in research.” commented Carlos Frade, Vice President of Business Development for Xybion. “Pristima 6 crosses a new frontier in providing the management tools to support this effort.”

It seems that Pristima is designed specifically to take into consideration the most modern concepts in toxicology study design and KIT has always been at the forefront of the best scientific approaches.'

26 February 2009 - Xybion Medical Systems Corp. and Instech Solomon are joining to develop an interface between Pristima™ and ORCHESTA™
Instech Solomon and Xybion Medical Systems Corp. announced that they are joining to develop an interface between Instech Solomon's ORCHESTA™ lab animal infusion system and Pristima™, Xybion's laboratory information system for safety assessment.
The interface, to be delivered in the autumn of 2009, will enable Instech Solomon's patent pending ORCHESTA wireless infusion system to request and use current study-related information from Pristima to control flow rates and administered volume for up to 300 animals per study. Such an interface will yield reductions in labor costs and human error.
"Interfacing Pristima to ORCHESTA using real time communications eliminates manual transfer of data from one system to the other to drive an individual infusion" said Carlos Frade, Vice President of Xybion Medical Systems. "This seamless solution assures the accuracy of each animal's daily infusion volume as Pristima provides the most current data at the start of the infusion. The complexities associated with large infusion studies will be dramatically reduced with this interface."
Andy Jacobson, a co-owner of Instech Solomon stated that "we are excited to work with Xybion. The two technologies make for an elegant solution that immediately and robustly addresses an intensive operation for our clients. ORCHESTA is the first automated lab animal infusion system to integrate syringe pumps, wireless hardware and superior control and monitoring software. 22 December 2005 – A message from the President
As we approach the end of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you and your families a peaceful holiday season along with a happy, healthy and prosperous year in 2006. 2005 was filled with excitement, hard work and success at Xybion; we released the Animal Room, Necropsy Room and Histopathology areas; we are nearly complete with the new Pharmacy area and are well under way with our expanded Clinical Pathology area.
So far, clients representing 19 sites and over 2,000 users, have entered into agreements to upgrade to the new system and are in various stages of the validation process. We expect a continued increase in the number of newly licensed sites and upgrades in 2006. The completion of the remaining system areas along with the capabilities for enhanced statistics and reproduction studies will make 2006 an important year. We appreciate and depend on our client community’s involvement in the design, development and beta testing of the system.
Some vendor companies are taking new initiatives to listen to their clients – at Xybion, listening to the clients has always been integral to our mission. Replacing Version 4.2.2 functionality and adding a tremendous amount of new functionality in Next Generation PATH/TOX SYSTEM has been a challenge. As we near completion of the remaining areas, I would like to thank you for your ideas, your support, and your patience. We are confident that PATH/TOX SYSTEM will meet or exceed your expectations, and encourage you to begin your implementation plans if you have not already done so.
Finally, I hope that you will join me in thanking my Xybion co-workers for their extraordinary efforts this year. They have put in long hours in work and travel to design, develop and deploy the most innovative and flexible data management system that has come along in this industry in years. We believe that 2006 will be another exciting and successful year for Xybion; we are pleased to share our success with you and look forward to continuing our close working relationship.
