Xybion Completes Acquisition of Amadeus, a Leader in Governance, Risk, Compliance and Quality Management (GRC) Solutions for the Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Financial Services Industries
Amadeus will operate as a division of Xybion Corporation.

Xybion Corporation announced today that through the creation of a wholly owned Quebec Corporation, Services Informatiques Xybion, it has completed the acquisition of all operating assets of Quebec City based Amadeus Solutions, a leader in the development of enterprise governance, risk, compliance and quality management software solutions, from Decimal Technologies, a corporate performance management organization headquartered in Montreal.
Amadeus has been partnering with organizations in life sciences, manufacturing, finance and government sectors to manage risk, quality and compliance by automating processes such as corrective and preventive actions, non-conformance and defects, complaints management, audits, training and SOP management, incident management, programs and project management, vendor management, document management and corporate governance and other related quality and business processes. The Amadeus’s eQCM® software platform is a powerful web-based solution that enables organizations to comply with requirements stemming from FDA,ISO and other regulatory standards like GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 9001, ISO14001, financial reporting and governance regulations Sarbens-Oxley, Canada Bill 198, and other industry standards and risk-based regulations. eQCM® is designed for maximum flexibility and easy adaptation to an organizations unique Governance, Compliance & Risk management (GRC) processes. eQCM® is also coupled with powerful business intelligence capabilities, enterprise content management , and related technologies that help organizations achieve sustained compliance and improve process performance. “Initially, we were searching for a partner to help penetrate the US and European life sciences market with the Amadeus solutions,” remarked Stéphane Gaouette, president of DECIMAL, “but in the course of our discussions it became evident that with strategic vision and direction of Xybion Amadeus will be in a better position for the future as a Xybion company.” While Amadeus will be a wholly owned division of Xybion Corporation, DECIMAL will retain a position on the board of directors of Amadeus business to continue to provide guidance and insight for product and market growth. DECIMAL will also be a partner with Xybion, retaining exclusive rights in Quebec for distribution of Amadeus’ Internal Controls Manager (ICM) product.
All of the employees of Amadeus have been retained by Services Informatiques Xybion. The Quebec City office will function as Xybion’s center of Excellence for the GRC business.
