Complete Audit Trail Xybion, a leading provider of value-added solutions, services and software for the IBM Maximo platform, has created a software add-on for Maximo that facilitates regulatory compliance by enabling an audit-trail solution within the Maximo application.
Complete Audit Trail (CAT) is an add-on solution for Maximo that brings together the history of all changes for a particular Maximo record. Changes from all tables related to the record plus audit trail and electronic signature entries are shown in one convenient list, ordered by date.
CAT was designed to enhance the eSig/eRec capabilities in the IBM Maximo® Enterprise Asset Management system. Providing an audit trail is a necessary function for regulated industries, as well as a best business practice for all organizations. Accurate tracking helps mitigate risk, increase efficiency and enhance productivity.
The Challenge 21 CFR Part 11.10e requires the "Use of secure, computer-generated, time-stamped audit trails to independently record the date and time of operator entries and actions that create, modify or delete electronic records. Record changes shall not obscure previously recorded information. Such audit trail documentation shall be retained for a period at least as long as that required for the subject electronic records and shall be available for agency review and copying."
