BENSALEM, PA, MAY 25, 2011: Xybion Corporation announced today the release of Xybion eQCM 8.1, a powerful process management tool for quality, compliance, governance and risk. The eQCM  is designed to facilitate the controlled management and automation of regulatory and quality based processes. The application consists of modular units that address key business functions, such as: Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Internal Controls, Customer Complaint Management, Deviation, Nonconformance, and Audit Management, to name a few.  
 
eQCM 8.1 is an extremely versatile and user based configurable product, the modules can operate independently or be integrated together in virtually any combination based on the business users needs. Users can leverage an existing document management module or provide connectivity to an enterprise wide content management system. Integration of key business processes with the organization’s document management system reduces errors, increases productivity and provides visibility throughout the enterprise. 
 
Created for highly regulated environments Xybion eQCM 8.1 facilitates compliance for many regulatory guidelines: GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and financial requirements.  Industry specific regulations or an organization’s unique business rules and processes can be built into the system. This flexible, scalable and capable solution can increase the ROI of existing IT infrastructure while mitigating risk and lowering the total cost of ownership. 
     
The new version, Xybion eQCM 8.1, maintains all of the robust capabilities of the previous version with added business process modules and upgrades in the document management and process design functionality.  eQCM V8.1 also offers enterprise governance capabilities through the addition of Internal Controls, Risk / Compliance Management and Program and Management Objectives modules.  These modules provide enhanced visibility, accountability and documentation for an organizations key business functions. 
 
The Internal Controls Module (ICM) allows companies to fully control and document their internal control environment. Entities, processes accounts, control objects, risk, controls and issues are managed in a hierarchical structure, with flexible relationships, shared responsibilities and accessible information. Authorized users have the ability to launch workflows directly from the ICM including; documentation review, control testing, certification and corrective actions.
 
The Risk and Compliance Module (RCM) performs various functions associated with risk management. RCM allows organizations to model their risk methodology, capture their risk data and identify where high-risk areas exist within the organization.
 
The Program and Management Objective Module (PMO) gives an organization the ability to plan and implement company, department or unit-wide objectives and tie those activities and outcomes to a specific program. The documentation of monitoring and achieving objectives is key to maintaining regulatory compliance.  
 
There have also been refinements to the Document Management System (eDMS). The module has a new Document Class function, which provides a layer of identification, flexibility and control of the document’s attributes or properties. This streamlines the updating, enforcing, rendering, versioning, approvals, migration, access and security of a document.  eQCM V8.1 also has an improved collaborative interface, there is a shared view of  material, ability to have a common markup document and space for collaborative and final comments. 
 
eQCM V8.1 is an  application with clear directives, compatibility between modules and easy to prepare dashboards and reports, all, which enhance the user’s experience and provides visibility across the enterprise.
